Lewisham Council Hits 1,000
For the first time ever, Lewisham Council has received over 1,000 eforms in a one month period thanks to an innovative solution from Gandlake. During March 2012, 1101 forms were submitted to Lewisham online without the resident having to call or visit the council in person.
Lewisham Council is using Gandlake’s TransAct solution which enables them to provide easily accessible forms over the web. The web channel is proving more popular than ever especially following on from the annual billing process which is a traditionally busy period for UK councils.
The milestone figure was mostly made up of two popular forms, Direct Debit (674) and Change to Main Residence (243). This level of direct debit take-up is fantastic news for Lewisham Council as it increases cash-flow and reduces collection costs.
