Harrow Council Wins Again
Harrow Council is celebrating winning the “Best Transformation Through IT” award at the 2012 prestigious MJ Awards held at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, London on 21st June.
Harrow submitted their “MyHarrow Account,” an online account that gives residents an additional and convenient channel to transact with the council without having to call or visit the council in person.
The judges recognised Harrow for their use of technology to transform their back office and make frontline services more efficient and user-friendly while reducing costs and increasing efficiency, in a way that was transferable to other organisations.
Harrow Council has been a long time user of Gandlake’s Online Services which make up part of the “MyHarrow Account” already recognised at last year’s awards when they won Best Achieving Council.
Ben Jones, Harrow Council’s Senior Project Manager for Business Transformation and Customer Services said, “This award is the result of a great team working together to provide excellent services for our residents while driving down costs at the council. We would like to thank Gandlake for the valuable part they played in achieving this goal.”
