New Appointments: Carol Hill, Jane Rose, Nick Howes and Barry Whitting Add 100-Years Local Government Experience.
5th November 2008, former staff from North Wiltshire District Council, Oxford City Council and Rugby Borough Council join Northgate’s former Southern Region Sales Manager in a four-way move to local government e-bill, e-presentment and document management specialist supplier, Gandlake.
“As a group, all four appointments significantly strengthen our focus on local government,” says Rob De Felice, Gandlake’s Group Sales Manager. “They will help to further develop our products and services to better support local authorities as they aim to transform and modernise communication with residents and partners to meet efficiency targets and help make significant contributions to bottom line cost savings. The appointments complement our existing team of local government and Benefits Services specialists.”
Carol Hill, Gandlake’s new Local Government Market Specialist, will use her near 30 years experience – working most recently for Northgate and formerly Anite, Capita and as Benefits Manager for Rugby Borough Council – to help drive sales in local government and support Gandlake’s customers as they aim to transform and modernise their communications with residents. Carol will use her working knowledge of local government to enhance Gandlake’s products, services and approach to dealing with customers.
Jane Rose is Gandlake’s new Benefits Consultant. Jane will draw on her 22 years experience – working most recently for local government supplier Anite and formerly for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and as Benefits Manager for Oxford City Council – to further develop and enhance Gandlake’s products and services to ensure they more efficiently and effectively serve the needs of Benefits Managers.
Nick Howes leaves his position as Northgate’s Southern Region Sales Manager to join Gandlake as Partner Sales Manager. Nick will use his extensive 15 years sales experience – earned during his time with local government suppliers Northgate and Anite, and technology supplier Business Objects – to expand and develop Gandlake’s channel presence, increase its base of resellers and where possible look to develop partnerships with complimentary technology vendors. Ultimately, Nick will be looking to expand Gandlake’s sales channels into the local government market.
Barry Whitting joins Gandlake to become the firm’s Database Consultant. In a career spanning 30 years, Barry has worked for Northgate, Academy, and as Recovery Officer for North Wiltshire District Council and Ratings Assistant for West Devon Borough Council. Barry now takes responsibility for further improving the integration of citizens’ data between Gandlake’s Citizen’s Account e-presentment platform and hardware from back-office vendors, Northgate and Academy.
