Gandlake Donates £600 to Mayor’s Charities
24 June, 2007, technology firm Gandlake is making a donation to the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames’s nominated charities for 2008 – REACT, Richmond Homes for Life and The Alzheimer’s Society.
The donation is to mark the 6,000th registration to view Council Tax information through a password-protected account available via Richmond Council’s website – a service provided by Gandlake.
Gandlake is donating 10 pence per registration.
A password-protected account, similar to secure internet banking, enables residents to answer their own Council Tax queries online 24 hours a day, seven days a week relating to Council Tax. Residents can view and interrogate balances and statements, check personal payment history, instalment plans and payments received. Additional Council services will be available to view through the accounts in the near future.
Residents can quickly register for a password-protect account here: www.myaccount.richmond.gov.uk
“Gandlake provides an important service to residents in Richmond upon Thames,” says the Mayor, Cllr Helen-Lee Parsons. “More and more people are signing up for an account to access valuable local service information. To reach 6,000 registrations is a real milestone and I am delighted that my charities will feel a financial benefit too.”
“Gandlake is delighted to make this donation to Mayor Lee-Parson’s chosen charities,” says John Gandley, Managing Director, Gandlake.
